Thanks to everyone who found the document educational. I've moved this 10+ year old document, which was merely a copy of the USENET FAQ, offline. Please google for other locations if you must have this information.

Originally, I put the a.s.h faq online for amusement and shock value. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail it contained. Anyone who really wants to leave will find a way, regardless to some dubious information found on the far corners of the Internet.

If you are considering a.s.h faq as an actual guide, please don't. No matter how dark things are for you, things will always get better. Keep your head up and be strong.
