The U3 software is prevalent on a wide variety of USB sticks (thumb drives).  We have found that our users seldom use the functionality of this software and are often unaware of its existence until their user profile fills up, causing disruptions to their work until things are cleaned up.

We are in the process of setting up a scheme that will disable this software from functioning.

If you do use the functionality of the U3 software that comes with your USB thumb drive, please let us know and we can
re-enable the features for you.
