CS Tutors have been presenting Workshops during Spring term covering a variety of topics which students taking Computer Science courses have found helpful. All workshops take place in the new CS Student Linux Lab FAB 88-09. (map)

The next workshop "Introduction to GDB and Make" will held Tuesday, October 14, at 16:00 (4:00 PM), and repeated on Thursday, October 16, at 16:00 (4:00 PM).

The Workshop will cover the following:

• GDB - The GNU Debugger
  
• How to Compile Your Program for GDB
  
• Starting GDB and Basic Commands
  
• MAKE - A Utility to Maintain Groups of Programs
  
• Introduction to Writing Makefiles
  
• Using MAKE to Compile Your Program

There will be a hands on, practice session following the presentation.
