CS Tutors have been presenting Workshops during Spring term covering a
variety of topics which students taking Computer Science courses have found helpful. All workshops take place in the new CS Student Linux
Lab FAB 88-09. (map)
The next workshop "Introduction to GDB and Make" will held Tuesday, October 14, at 16:00 (4:00 PM), and repeated on Thursday, October 16, at 16:00 (4:00 PM).
The Workshop will cover the following:
- GDB - The GNU Debugger
- How to Compile Your Program for GDB
- Starting GDB and Basic Commands
- MAKE - A Utility to Maintain Groups of Programs
- Introduction to Writing Makefiles
- Using MAKE to Compile Your Program
There will be a hands on, practice session following the presentation.
